The other night, Cade asked if we could pleeeeaase make sugar cookies. I succumbed to the pressure, donned my apron and prepared for flour and fun. Just when it was time to cut out the cookies, I decided we needed some holiday cheer. Some music or classic movie. As I surfed the channels I found a true classic. A show that was sure to make everyone sing and dance. Mary Poppins was just starting! I tried to share my enthusiasm...telling the kids how much they were going to love this movie! (They didn't display the same excitement....but, they were willing to give it a try.) Mr. C was innocently standing by...observing the controlled chaos...when he said, "What is the premises of this movie?" Gasp...shock...disbelief. "You have
never seen Mary Poppins? How have you made it this far in life?!" Randi quickly gave him a little summary of the movie. Disinterested...he left our little party.
We cut out Santas, trees, bells, angels...and sprinkled them green and red. After a while, Randi snuck away...and then...my littlest baker joined her. I was left. Just me, some cookie dough, and good ol' Mary Poppins. Supercalifragil.....

I love Mary Poppins! It's my mom's favorite movie, and it's so classic. It's too bad your family didn't stay and watch it with you.
Happy holidays
That is my kids favorite movie by far! I think I know every word to that movie! I baked all day yesterday and now exhausted!
